Greenville

Teri Leann Wilson, 56, of Greenville, SC, a woman of love and warmth, passed away on December 28, 2025. Born on October 23, 1969, Teri was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother whose love knew no bounds. She is remembered fondly for her caring nature and the light she brought into the lives of all who knew her.

Teri met her husband, Rick, later in life, and their union blossomed into a beautiful love story after some gentle persuasion on his part. Together, they shared seventeen wonderful years, filled with laughter, love, and music. Teri loved listening to Rick play guitar, finding calm and happiness in the songs they shared.

As a loving mother, Teri was very proud of her children, and she loved her role as "Emah" to her adoring grandchildren with equal pride. Each day was a testament to her devotion, and her children and grandchildren were her most cherished accomplishments.

Teri was a warm and nurturing friend, always ready to lend an ear and offer wise advice, often spot on, even if not always heeded. Her steady presence and genuine concern for others shone through in every interaction. She had a knack for looking out for everyone's best interests, showing that her heart was as big as her spirit.

Beyond her roles as wife and mother, Teri found joy in the simple pleasures of life. She delighted in online shopping and held a special affection for the Peanuts characters, embracing their whimsy. Moreover, she found solace in the embrace of the Christian Assembly of the Upstate Church, where her faith flourished.

Teri leaves behind her husband, Donald R. “Rick” Wilson, Jr., her children, Richard Adam Wilson, Tristan Matthews- Wilson, Nicholas Brown (Beth), Sarah Elizabeth Emory (Eli), Danielle Vick (Bruce), Lindsay M. Wilson; twelve grandchildren and one great-grandchild; and a sister Kerrie Johnson (Steve).

She is preceded in death by a sister, Sherrie James.
