Terry Bob Wofford

Terry B. Wofford, a beloved husband, father, and grandfather, passed away on September 8, 2023, at St. Francis Hospital Downtown. Born on September 3, 1948, in Greenville, South Carolina, Terry led a remarkable life filled with love and laughter.

Terry dedicated his career to Michelin Inc., where he served as a Classpector. Known for his meticulous attention to detail and unwavering commitment to excellence, Terry was a valued member of the Michelin family.

Terry will always be remembered for his warm personality and kind heart. He was a humble and honorable man who adored his family above all else. His love for his wife, Becky Wofford, was one of Terry's proudest accomplishments. Together they shared a bond that stood the test of time for over 50 years.

As a father and grandfather, Terry cherished every moment spent with his sons and grandchildren. Left to treasure Terry’s many memories are his wife, Becky Wofford; sons, Bryan Terry Wofford (Carlee), and Kevin C. Wofford (Cortney); grandchildren, Riley, Brylee, Becca, and Carter Wofford who brought immeasurable joy to Terry's life. He delighted in their company and created countless beautiful memories with them.

Terry was preceded in death by 3 siblings: Toy Wofford Jr. (Dee), William Wofford (Ruth), and Frances Weems (Charles). Terry is survived by his older brother, Jesse Thomas “Tom” Wofford (Gladys) as well as a cherished sister-in-law, June Freeman Baswell (Ron) and numerous nieces and nephews.

Terry had an uncanny sense of humor that could brighten any room. With his quick wit, jokes, and vast memory of life stories, he had the rare ability to make everyone around him burst into laughter. He never met a stranger and had the amazing gift to quickly befriend anyone. Terry had the exceptional quality of effortlessly bringing others happiness.

A Visitation will take place from 1:00 PM to 2:45 PM on Saturday, September 16, 2023, at Robinson Funeral Home Powdersville Road in Easley, South Carolina. A Graveside Service to honor Terry’s life will be held at 3:00 PM at Robinson Memorial Gardens - Glen Vista Mausoleum starting at 3:00 PM, following the visitation. The address for both locations is 1425 Powdersville Road, Easley, SC 29642.

Terry leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and cherished memories. While his physical presence will be deeply missed, his spirit will forever live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know him.

During this time of mourning, let us celebrate Terry's life and the profound impact he had on everyone fortunate enough to know him. His kindness and humor brought light into many lives. May we find solace in the beautiful memories we shared with Terry.
