Mrs. Thelma McQueen Hendrix, 83, wife of the late Lewis Earl Hendrix, passed away Friday, August 23, 2013, at her home.

Born in Pickens County, to the late Richard E. and Ruth Brown McQueen, Mrs. Hendrix was a member of New Springs Church, and loved to plant flowers in her garden.

Surviving are a son, Curtis Hendrix (Mau) of Easley; two brothers, Joe McQueen of Pickens, and James McQueen of Easley; and two sisters, Dorothy Foster of Easley, and Bobbi Loftis of Georgia; three grandchildren, Buddy, Ron, and Samuel Hendrix; and six great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, August 27, 2013, at Cross Roads Baptist Church Cemetery, with the Reverend Gene Davis officiating.
