Thelma Rae Long Farr Revis Lipscomb, a devoted mother, sister, grandmother, and steadfast friend, passed away peacefully on February 14, 2026, at the age of 84.

Born on June 9, 1941, in Savannah, Georgia, she was the daughter of the late Jimmy J Long and Bessie Olene Barrett Long.

Thelma lived a life centered on family, love, and life’s simplest joys. In her younger years, she loved to cook and she had a natural gift for bringing people together. She often hosted holiday parties and gatherings where family and friends felt genuinely welcomed. In her later years, she found comfort and enjoyment in television dramas and true crime programs, often balancing the suspense with the heartwarming stories of the Hallmark Channel and The Gaither's Gospel hour. Above all else, Thelma adored her family. Her love for them was constant, unwavering, and unconditional. She took immense pride in watching her family grow and flourish across generations.

She is survived by her son, Anthony Farr (June) of Ridge Spring, SC; and her daughter, Angela Gasque of LaFrance, SC. She also leaves behind her cherished grandchildren, Michael, Amanda, Jessica, Jeremy, and Adriana; her precious great-grandchildren, Brianna, Destiny, Noah, Jayden, Ava, Jaxon, and Beckham; and one great-great-granddaughter, Jasmina. She is also survived by her sister, Hattie Kathryn Canoy along with extended family members and dear friends who will miss her profoundly.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Melonie Lucinda Farr, her husbands, William Revis, Alfred Lipscomb, and Henry Farr; and her grandson, Devin Ervin.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, February 28, 2026, at 1:00 PM at Calvary Baptist Church, 8008 Liberty Hwy, Liberty, SC 29657.

Thelma will be remembered for her boundless love for her family, her unbridled spirit, and the countless cherished memories she created with those fortunate enough to know her. Her presence is deeply missed, and her love and legacy will live on forever in the hearts of her family.
