Thelma McClellan Pepper

Thelma McClellan Pepper, wife of the late Reuben S. Pepper, passed away on November 21, 2025. Born in Seneca, SC, August 10, 1927, the daughter of Allen Lee and Lola Smith McClellan.
Mrs. Pepper retired from the School District of Pickens County. She was a member of Easley First Baptist Church, the Frances Freeman Sunday School Class, and was an active member of the W.M.U.
She is survived by her son, Jeffery L. Pepper (Cindy) of Easley; her grandchildren, Adam Pepper (Charley), Brantly Vest (Logan), and Leigh V. Matthews (Shane); and her great-grandchildren, Jackson Pepper, Rollins and Bennett Vest, and Bella.
In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by her daughter, Margie P. Vest; her granddaughter, Emma Pepper; her parents; her brother, John M. McClellan; and her sister, Doris K. McClellan.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, November 26, 2025 at 11:00 AM until 11:45 AM at Easley First Baptist Church. A memorial service will follow at 12:00 PM in the chapel.
A private entombment will be held at Hillcrest Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Easley First Baptist Church or Hospice of the Upstate.
