Mrs. Thelma Cantrell Reeves, 87, of 8560 Moorefield Memorial Highway, wife of the late Edward Eugene Reeves, passed away Tuesday, July 3, 2012 at Baptist Easley Hospital.

Born January 12, 1925 in Pickens County, she was the daughter of the late Ross and Lillie Chapman Cantrell. Mrs. Reeves was the former owner and operator of Suzuki of Greenville and Suzuki of Easley for twenty three years. She loved playing the piano and was of the Assembly of God faith.

She is survived by her son, Meldon Reeves of Liberty; daughters, Sandra Watson (Gary) of Seneca, Darlene Reeves of Charleston and Eugenia Swilling (Eric)of Myrtle Beach, brother, James (Doris) Cantrell; seven grandchildren, Tamie Briggs, Christopher Barfield, Makkie Watson, Jody Watson, Joshua Swilling, Gabriel Swilling and Zachary Swilling; nine great-grandchildren, Mark McLane, Chaz Barfield, Chelsea Watson, Larissa Briggs, Cody Watson, Tyler Watson, Libby Swilling, Taylor Swilling and Bella Swilling.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM Friday, July 6, 2012 in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Powdersville Road. Entombment will follow in the Chapel of Reflection Mausoleum at Robinson Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Thursday at the funeral home.
