Theresa I. Gardzalla

Theresa Irene Gardzalla, 88, of Seneca, wife of Ron Gardzalla passed away peacefully at home Sunday, December 25, 2022, surrounded by loved ones. She was born in Pringle, PA on October 10, 1934 the daughter of Joseph and Mary Dzurus Macey.

Theresa grew up in the Luzerne, PA area where she graduated from Luzerne High School. She later went to work as a secretary for the Army Corps of Engineers, a job she held for many years.  

Theresa will be remembered for all the blankets she crocheted. She enjoyed travelling, but above all she loved spending time with her family.

Theresa is survived by her husband, Ron; three sons, Michael (Ellen), Kenneth (Mary), and Stephen (Claudia); five grandchildren; two great grandchildren; one great great grandson; and a sister, Irene Cerny.

A memorial mass will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, January 21st at St. Andrew Catholic Church, 209 Sloan St., Clemson, SC. A committal service will be held at 1:00 PM January 23^rd at MJ “Dolly Cooper” Veterans Cemetery, 140 Inway Dr., in Anderson.
