Thomas Settle Boyd, Jr., 90, of Easley, husband of Nadyne Stewart Boyd, passed away on Saturday, October 5, 2024. Born in Reidsville, NC, he was the son of the late Ethel Glidewell and Thomas S. Boyd, Sr. Thomas was a Wake Forest University graduate with a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A). He proudly served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. His successful business career included being Vice President of Human Resources for the Long Company, which was a cooperative for wholesale bakeries, Beatrice Foods, Krispy Kreme Doughnut and Hanes Knitwear.

Thomas enjoyed traveling the world with his wife. He loved the Lord and was a member of Jones Ave Baptist Church where he taught Sunday School.

 Although the family will not be having a formal visitation, they will be at the residence. A private entombment will he held at a later date.

 In addition to his loving wife of almost 40 years, he is survived by a son, Thomas “Tommy” S. Boyd, III; stepdaughter, Glennis Cheryl Watkins; grandchildren, Beatrice Reynolds, Rheyse Reynolds, Rachel Boyd, Sean Boyd and Tyler Boyd and two great-grandchildren, Sage and Elijah.

Thomas’ legacy of kindness and wittiness, and the ability to touch the lives around him will forever be remembered by all who knew and loved him. Let us celebrate a Godly man whose legacy will endure for years to come as, “timeless love”.
