Thomas Dempsey, 58, of Piedmont, passed away unexpectedly July 26, 2021.
Raised in Anderson County, Tom was the son of the late Thomas and Elizabeth Carter Dempsey. He was formerly employed with Anderson Brothers and then was a self employed mechanic who was known as the "Body Man". He was a fun loving, jeep driving dad and he will be greatly missed.
Surviving are his two daughters, Harley Dempsey and Carter Dempsey, both of Piedmont; his girlfriend, Tammy Cothran, of Travelers Rest; and his best friend, Mark Burdick.
A Celebration of Life service will take place Friday, July 30, 2021 at 1:00pm at Marathon Community Church. Visitation will follow the service until 3:00pm.
