Thomas Joe Hickey, 58, of Easley, passed away Tuesday, September 7, 2021.
Born in Easley, he was a son of the late Earl Hunter and Barbara Jean Nix Hickey.
Thomas worked as superintendent with D.H. Griffin Contracting in Duncan, SC. He was a member of Keowee Masonic Lodge #79 and was of the Baptist faith.
Thomas was an avid motorcycle and hot rod enthusiast. Above all, he loved spending time with his family, especially his five beloved grandchildren.
Thomas is survived by wife, Karen Mobley Hickey; four children, Jason Hickey (Angel) of Liberty, Dillon Hickey (Katie) of Easley, Kendall Pomeroy (Aaron) of Easley, and Andrew Brown (Megan) of Easley; three brothers, Donnie, Wayne, and Patrick Hickey; two sisters, Wanda Kelley and Charlene Ballew; and five grandchildren, Bryson Eugene and Emmaleigh Nicole Hickey, Charlotte Grey and Elias Preston Pomeroy, and Tinleigh McKay Hickey.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, September 11, 2021 at the Chapel of Robinson Funeral Home, Downtown. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. Friday, September 10, 2021 at the funeral home.
