Mr. Thomas Eugene Madden, 76, husband of the late Virginia Gail Madden, passed away Wednesday, September 4, 2019 at his home.
Born in Greenville, SC , he was a son of the late James Walker Madden, Jr. and Mary Lanette Austin Madden. Mr. Madden was retired from the United States Postal Service, and was of the Baptist Faith. He enjoyed fishing and going to the mountains, and especially enjoyed spending time in Cherokee. He proudly served our country in the US Air Force.
Surviving is one brother, Dennis Madden (Belinda), of Taylors; two nephews, Eric Morgan (Joni) of Gray Court and Jody Green (Jennifer) of Easley; one brother-in-law, David Goode (Debbie) of Greenville; one niece, Melanie Callahan, of Easley; and two great-nieces, Hannah and Mackenzie Green.
In addition to his wife and parents, Mr. Madden was predeceased by two brothers, Jimmy Madden and Allen Madden; and one sister, Melissa Green.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, September 7, 2019 at Mt. Zion Cemetery in Central.
The family will receive friends from 12:30 until 1:30 on Saturday, September 7, 2019 at Robinson Funeral Home - Downtown, Easley.
The family is at their respective homes.
Flowers will be accepted, or memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association, www.diabetes.org.
