Thomas Kemp Marlowe, 98, died May 24, 2007 at Clemson Downs. He was born in Pendergrass, GA and was a graduate of Tulane Law School. He was a WWII veteran and before retirement was vice president of The Phoenix Insurance Co. of Hartford.
Surviving are his closest friend, confidante and companion of many years who was like a son to Tom, Leonard Spohn, Clemson; niece, Laura Marlowe Barrett, Loganville, GA and a cousin, Frances Braselton Gregory, Covington, GA.
Funeral services will be Monday at 3pm at Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Old Stone Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday prior to service from 2-3pm at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Clemson Downs Volunteers, 500 Downs Loop, Clemson, SC 29631.
