Thomas Henry Porter, 67, husband of Patricia Moore Porter, passed away on Friday, March 13, 2020 at his home.
Born in Greenville, a son of the late Frank Wilson Porter and the late Doris Greene Porter, he was a Mechanical Contractor at Southern M.E.P. for many years who enjoyed camping, reading, and spending time with his family. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
Surviving, in addition to his wife, are sons, Isaac Moore Porter (Sommer), Clayton Frank Porter (Brandy), and Cameron Michael McGinnis; daughters, Julia Bess Porter, Della Jane Rigdon (Steven), Claire Ann Cummings (Timothy), and Avery Rose McGinnis, all of Greenville; a brother, Daniel Greene Porter (Ginty) of Seneca; a sister, Diane Boyer (Larsen) of Greenville; and eleven grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held at 3:30 p.m. Monday, March 16, 2020 at Woodlawn Memorial Park, 1 Pine Knoll Drive, Greenville, SC 29609.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints Humanitarian Aid at churchofjesuschrist.org.
