Thomas Stevenson Taylor, 85, of Clemson, widower of Margery Thompson "Muggs" Taylor, passed away, Monday, March 2, 2015.

Born in Sparta, Wisconsin, he was son of the late Harry and Violet Stevenson Taylor. He was a retired teacher and a US Air Force Veteran of the Korean War. Mr. Taylor was a graduate of the University of Wisconsin. Tom was an avid golfer and won the Sparta Men's City Championship when he was 18 years old. He was known for his great sense of humor, he never met a stranger and would strike up a conversation with everyone. Tom loved playing bridge and all card games and was a great dancer who along with his beloved "Muggs" would clear a dance floor at any wedding.

Surviving are his son, Ted Andrew Taylor and his wife, Melissa Sue of Clemson; and grandsons, Austin Andrew Taylor and Brett Harrison Taylor.

In addition to his parents and wife, he was predeceased by his sister, Betty Anne Taylor.

A life celebration will be held from 4 to 6 PM, Friday, March 6, 2015 at his home in Clemson.
