Thomas O'Duffas Wade, 105, of 536 Pope Field Road, husband of the late Bertha Lee Allen Wade, died Saturday, June 9, 2007.

Born in Pickens County, the son of the late James Thomas and Nannie Burns Wade, Mr. Wade retired from Alice Manufacturing Company after fifty-two years of service. He was a member of Park Street Baptist Church where he was a former Deacon and Treasurer and belonged to the Men's Bible Class. Mr. Wade helped with the building of the original Park Street Baptist Church in the 1930's and also helped with building the new addition in the mid 1950's.

Surviving are three sons, James T. Wade, Roy Wade and his wife, Martha, all of Dacusville, and Jerry C. Wade and his wife, Joan, of Easley; a daughter, Lila Mauldin of Sarasota, FL; twelve grandchildren and spouses, Dixie and Dr. John Walker, Nancy and Bruce Carter, Roger Wade, Patsy and Arless Day, Diane and Henry Bivens, Keith and Elizabeth Brown, Timothy and Wanda Wade, Thomas E. Wade, Matt and Susan Brown, Jimmy and Pat Wade, Ty Scott and Trish Wade and Deborah Scott Wade; a son-in-law, John R. Brown; a daughter-in-law, Madge C. Wade; sixteen great-grandchildren and fourteen great-great-grandchildren. In addition to his wife and parents, Mr. Wade was predeceased by a son, T.M. "Frosty" Wade, a daughter, Ruby W. Brown, a son-in-law, Homer M. Mauldin and by a daughter-in-law, Dorothy M. Wade.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown with Rev. Bob Scott and Rev. Charles Holliday officiating. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park.

Visitation will be from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to VistaCare Hospice, 4006 East North Street, Greenville, SC 29615.

The family is at the home of Jerry and Joan Wade, 544 Pope Field Road, Easley, SC 29642.
