Thomas Ralph Whyne, 92, of 104 Chandler Drive, Liberty, SC, loving husband of the late Vivian Ada Dieffenbach Lines Whyne, passed away Tuesday, December 23, 2014 at his residence.

Tom was born on March 28, 1922 in Ashland, PA to the late Charles Ralph and Katie Strunk Whyne. He was a retired punch press operator for the Fisher and Porter Company in Willow Grove, PA. Tom was a United States Army Veteran and a member of the Ashland Boy's Association. He loved the outdoors, especially fishing, history and was an avid reader. Tom was a member of Maryland Line Church in Maryland Line, PA.

Tom is survived by four daughters; Karen Dabbs, of the home, Bonnie Spieles (Frank), of Ashland, PA, Wyllena "Willie" Bowen, of Easley, SC, Lynda Carrigan (Michael), of Myrtle Beach, SC; and two sisters, Betty and Helen. Tom is also survived by fourteen grandchildren and seventeen great ? grandchildren.

In addition to his wife and parents, Tom was preceded in death by two sons; Thomas Whyne and John Lines; two brothers; William "Bill" Whyne and John Whyne; and two sisters; Mildred and Hazel. Tom was also preceded in death by two sisters who passed as children.

The family will hold a private inurnment service in Pennsylvania at a later date.

The family is at their respective homes.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to honor the lives of Doris Mae Ervine and Thomas William Whyne may be made to the Huntington's Disease Society of America, 505 Eighth Avenue, Suite 902, New York, NY 10018
