Thomas C. "Tommy" Wilbanks, 57, of 228 Holly Springs School Road, passed away Tuesday, June 28, 2011 at his home.
Born in Greenville, a son of the late Hoyt Thomas and Bertie Johnson Wilbanks, Mr. Wilbanks was employed with JPS Composite Materials-Slater Plant for forty years and was a member of Siloam Baptist Church.
Surviving are a daughter, Trisha Wilbanks of Pickens; a step-daughter, Anna Burgess of Pickens; the mother of his two daughters, Janet J. Wilbanks of Pickens; two sisters, Melissa Wilbanks of Greenville and Lynne Phillips of Piedmont. In addition to his parents, Mr. Wilbanks was predeceased by two half-brothers, Steve and Jerry Konduras and a brother-in-law, Tim D. Smith.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Powdersville Road. Burial will follow in Robinson Memorial Gardens, 1425 Powdersville Road, Easley, SC 29642.
Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Family members are at their respective homes.
