Thomas Robert (Bob) Williams, 92, of 1017 Keystone Lane, died Saturday, May 31, 2008 at the Cottingham Hospice House in Seneca.
He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Gertrude Nadine Williams, and by three children and their spouses, Ann Fuhr and husband Don of Seneca, Tom and Nancy Williams of Durango, Colorado and David and Pam Williams of Fernandino Beach, Florida, seven grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
In 1983, the couple retired to South Carolina from Minnesota, where Bob had a successful career in agriculture journalism. He retired as Senior Advertising director and publisher for agriculture publications including Farm Industry News and Irrigation Age.
He was a member of Clemson United Methodist Church. For many years, he was an active volunteer at the South Carolina Botanical Gardens, where a private family service will be held.
