Mr. Thornton Glen Gross, 91, husband of the late Margaret "Margey" Gross, passed away Wednesday, August 4, 2021.
Mr. Gross was predeceased by his father Clarence C. Gross and his mother Marie M. Gross of Battle Ground, IN. Mr. Gross is survived by his daughter Pamela Webber and her husband Doug, son Randy Gross, daughter Patricia Kent. He leaves four grandchildren, Kristy Roman and her husband Ryan, Jordan and Emmanuelle Gross and Lisa Kent. He also leaves his great grandchildren, Ruby, Scarlett, and Harrison Roman; Mr. Gross is also survived by his brother Charlie Gross and his sister Mary Coogle and her husband Ray, brother-in-law Tom Baker and his wife Carole, and two sisters-in-law, Sara Marriott and KayeAnn Baker.
Mr. Gross worked as a manufacturing supervisor at Kohler Company in Kohler, WI and at National Cabinet Lock in Mauldin, SC. He was the president of the American Electroplaters in Milwaukee, WI and Greenville, SC. He was a dedicated volunteer guide with the Hejaz Shriner's Hospital in Greenville, SC, a member of the Mountain Springs No. 302 AFM Masonic Lodge, served in the Indiana National Guard and volunteered in the Civil Air Patrol in Indiana. He was a member of the Bethesda United Methodist Church in Easley, SC.
