Tilmon Perry Hooper, 91, of 105 Townsend Drive, passed away Wednesday, February 25, 2015 at his home.

Born in Greenville County, a son of the late Conat Clifford and Eliza Owens Hooper, Mr. Hooper retired from the Platt Saco-Lowell and was a member of Jones Avenue Baptist Church. He was also a Mason, a Shriner and a former volunteer fireman.

Surviving are his wife, Christine Mann Hooper; a son, Kenny Perry Hooper; five daughters, Linda Marchbanks, Eleanor Sanders (Jerry), Cathy Phillips (Ronnie), Patsy Medlin (William) and Martha Holliday (Larry); a sister, Lonella Wike; a son-in-law Bobby Mauldin (Jolyn); twelve grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, Mr. Hooper was predeceased by a son, Clifford Eugene Hooper, by a daughter, Shirley Mauldin, a son-in-law, Ronny Marchbanks, a daughter-in-law, Annette Hooper, a brother, Wallace Hooper and by a grandson, Scott Medlin.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM Saturday at Jones Avenue Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park.

The body is at Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown and will be placed in the church at Noon Saturday where the family will receive friends from 12:30 until 1:45 PM, prior to the service.

The family is at the residence.
