Timothy Ray Cox, 65, of Piedmont, died Tuesday August 18, 2009 at McCall Hospice House.
Mr. Cox was born in Oconee County, SC, a son of the late J.B. Cox, Jr. and Eva Cox. He retired from Lucent Technologies and was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam Era.
Surviving are his wife, Nancy Woodall Cox, of the home ; a son, Marcus T. Cox and his wife, Stephanie, of Spartanburg ; daughters, Jaime M. Cox, of Simpsonville and Julie M. Kinsman and her husband, Greg, of Greer ; a grandchild, Kailey R. Cox, of Simpsonville.
Graveside Services and burial will be 10:30 AM Saturday in Robinson Memorial Gardens, 1425 Powdersville Road, Easley.
The family is at the home.
Memorials may be made to McCall Hospice House, 1836 W. Georgia Road, Simpsonville, SC 29680.
The family wishes to express their appreciation to Dr. Larry Gluck and the special staff at the Cancer Center of the Carolina's for their concern and care for Mr. Cox.
