Timothy Peter Gentry

Timothy Peter Gentry, 32, of Columbia, SC, son of Dr. W. Douglas and Robin Lyle Gentry, went Home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, July 28, 2015. His childhood home was Seneca, SC.
Born in Greenville, he was a 2009 graduate of Clemson University with a BA in Spanish. Tim was an employee of the Hispanic Assistance and Bilingual Language Access Project at USC, Columbia. He was also a personal care aide and pursuing a career in Nursing. He had a passion for sharing Christ with the world.
Surviving in addition to the parents, are two brothers, Benjamin Michael (Lisa Elaine) Gentry of Augusta, GA (with their 2 daughters, Anna and Kimberly), as well as Jonathan David Gentry of Pasadena, CA; two sisters, Jessica Suzanne Turner (Austin) of Charleston, SC, and Abigail Marie Gentry of Chicago, IL.. Paternal grandmother, Mrs.Petty Gentry of Clemson; maternal grandmother, Mrs.Merle Gilbertson Lyle of Seneca; Tim's betrothed, Maegan Reeder of Columbia.
Visitation will be from 6-8 Friday at Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home, Central. Memorial services will be 2 pm, Saturday at Clemson Presbyterian Church. The family will greet friends immediately after the service at the church.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Fuel India, which will be opening The Timothy Gentry Children's Home in 2016. The website for Fuel India is www.christuniversalmissions.webs.com.
