Mr. Tom Chase, Jr., 89, husband of Janet Ordway Chase, passed away Saturday, June 23, 2018.

Born in Detroit, MI, a son of the late Tom Chase, Sr. and the late Thelma Savage Chase, Mr. Chase was a graduate Perdue University where he received his degree in Electrical Engineering and retired from GE with thirty-eight years of service. He was a US Air Force Veteran having served in the Korean War and was a member of St. Andrew United Methodist Church.

Mr. Chase was a dedicated Boy Scout leader for many years. He loved to travel, but most of all, he loved his family.

Surviving, in addition to his wife of sixty years, are two sons, John A. Chase of Florence, AL, and Donald A. Chase (Lisa) of Newnan, GA; two daughters, Deborah A. Chase of Easley and Laura A. Gray (Ward) of Duncan; a brother, Ronald Chase (Mary) of NY; a sister, Lyne Tower (Steve) of NC; eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be 3:30 PM Wednesday, June 27, 2018 at Robinson Memorial Gardens, 1425 Powdersville Road, Easley, SC 29642.

The family will host a celebration of life for Tom Saturday, July 14, 2018 at St. Andrew United Methodist Church, Easley.

The family is at the home.

Memorials may be made to St. Andrew United Methodist Church, 309 Pelzer Highway, Easley, SC 29642.
