Tommy D. Harrison

Mr. Tommy Dale Harrison, 78, husband of Carol McQueen Harrison, passed away Friday, November 10, 2017 at St. Francis Hospital.

Born in Pickens County, a son of the late Wayne Fant Harrison, Sr. and Mary Beatrice Greene Harrison, Mr. Harrison was a graduate of Liberty High School and retired from Pace Electric Company, Inc. He was a member of West Greenville Baptist Church where he formerly served as minister of music.

Mr. Harrison was a passionate musician, singer and drummer for fifty years. He was a life time Master Mason with the Tate Masonic Lodge and a Shriner since 1973.

Surviving, in addition to his wife of twenty-six years, are two daughters, Casey H. Morgan (Tommy) of Easley and Pamela H. Boggs (Bobby) of Pendleton; two brothers, Wayne F. Harrison, Jr. and Randall Harrison (Elinda), all of Cateechee; and three grandchildren, Lexi, Neve and T.J. Morgan. In addition to his parents, Mr. Harrison was predeceased by a sister, Carolyn Patricia Harrison.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Tuesday, November 14, 2017 in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park, Pickens.

The family will receive friends from noon until 1:45 PM Tuesday at the funeral home, prior to the service.
