Tammany Denver "Tommy" Higgins, 19, of 302 Haverhill Circle, died Friday, July 11, 2008.
Born in Maryville, TN, he was a son of Thomas Roy Higgins and his wife Diana of Honea Path, SC, and Sheila Lee Latham Cummings of Arab, AL. He worked as a painter and was a member of Brushy Creek Baptist Church. Tommy loved to fish and build model cars.
Surviving in addition to his parents are two brothers, Thomas Higgins, Jr., Jonathan Wayne Higgins, both of Tupelo, MS; four sisters, Tammy Denise Evans of MS, Ruth Denise Watson of Douglasville, GA, Jennifer Elisha Reynolds of Sicklerville, NJ, Cassondra Lee Revelle of Easley, SC; a step-brother, John Pierce, Jr. of Beaufort, SC; a step-sister, Deanna Corlett of Honea Path, SC; an aunt, Debbie Sue Mahan of Arab, AL; and special friends, Connie Sheppard of Liberty, and Cathy Guinn of Douglasville, GA.
Funeral services will be 1 PM Monday at Brushy Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Dr. Jim Spencer and Rev. Bobby Brock officiating. Inurnment will take place at 1 PM Wednesday at Robinson Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be 5 PM until 7 PM Sunday night at Robinson Funeral Home - Downtown.
The family is at their respective homes.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Tommy Higgins Memorial Fund; c/o Robinson Funeral Home; PO Box 387; Easley, SC 29641.
