Tommy R. Tinsley, 77, of 109 N. Blue Ridge Circle and husband of Mary "Sue" O. Tinsley, passed away Tuesday May 8, 2012 at Regency Hospital in Greenville.
Mr. Tinsley was born in Pickens County, a son of the late Dave A. and Alleen Ellison Tinsley. He was formerly affiliated with Tinsley Chevrolet and retired from Sitton Buick as parts manager and was a member of Grace United Methodist Church.
Surviving in addition to his wife are his sons, Steve Tinsley and his wife Sandi and Whit Tinsley and his wife, Sheila, all of Pickens; a brother, Jack Tinsley and his wife, Carla, of Liberty; grandchildren, Travis Tinsley and his wife, Shelley, Brittani Tinsley, Austin Tinsley and Jacob Tinsley.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Ellison Tinsley, Charles Tinsley, David A. Tinsley, Jr., and Dick Tinsley.
Graveside services will be 4:00 PM Thursday and burial will follow in Robinson Memorial Gardens.
