Anthony Lee "Tony" Bennett, 44, of Easley, passed away Wednesday September 9, 2015.
Born in Hampton, SC he is the son of Marjorie Bennett of Hampton and the late William Brantley Bennett.
Tony owned and operated Crossroads Tire and Auto and formerly owned and operated Carolina Tire in Easley. He was known as a "Wheeler-Dealer" who loved playing cards, crabbing, fishing, shrimping, good barbecue, all types of cars, the Gamecocks and most of all he loved his family.
Tony was a fun loving, generous and kind person with a caring soul who was always willing to help anyone in need.
Surviving are his wife, Cynthia Greiner Bennett; his daughters, Brittany Jean Bennett Brooks (Nicholas) of Charlotte, Katelynn Elizabeth Bennett of Harrisburg, NC, Emily Taylor Bennett, Mary-Caroline Marie Bennett and Sarah Ann Bennett all of Easley; brothers, William Tyson Bennett of Waxhaw, NC and Timothy Cape Bennett of Iron Station, NC; grandmother, Mary Lou Mosley Bennett of Hampton, SC; and grandparents, C.W. and Myrtle Nix of Varnville, SC.
In addition to his father, Tony was predeceased by his grandfather, Percy Tyson Bennett.
A service to celebrate Tony's life will be held on Sunday, September 13, 2015 at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Powdersville Road.
The family will receive friends Saturday evening from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
The burial will be held on Monday at 5:00 PM in Hampton Cemetery in Hampton, SC.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Katelynn Bennett, to assist with her college education, 6115 The Meadows Lane, Harrisburg, NC 28075.
