Tony Allen Lollis

Tony A. Lollis, Sr. - Pickens, SC Tony Allen Lollis, Sr., 53, of 202 Garden Drive, Apt. 56, died Tuesday, September 01, 2009 at Cannon Memorial Hospital. Mr. Lollis was born in Greenville, a son of the late George Preston and Delila "Wootie" Watson Lollis. He attended Maranatha Baptist Church and was a graduate of Simpson High School. He worked as a spinner for Alice Manufacturing, Ellison Plant. Mr. Lollis loved spending time and playing with his grandchildren. Mr. Lollis is survived by his wife, Bessie Mae Woodring Lollis of the home; a son. Tony Allen Lollis, Jr. of Easley; a daughter, Deliah Edith Louise Garcia of Easley, a step-daughter, Tina Gusovius of Inwoody, WV; four brothers, Charles Lollis of Greenville, Lee Lollis of Powdersville, Bob Lollis of Sunset and Kenneth Wayne Lollis of Liberty; a sister, Mellie Lollis of Anderson; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by six brothers. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home - Downtown, conducted by Reverends Charlie Bishop and Scott Willis. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be Thursday night from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the funeral home. The family is at the home of his brother, Kenneth Wayne Lollis, 133 N. Freeman Road; Liberty, SC 29657; off Hwy 178 from Pickens, turn left at Pumpers, 3rd drive on the left.
