Tressie Q. Ragsdale

Tressie Queen Ragsdale, formerly of Old Liberty Road, went home to see her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and her beloved husband, Henry Lee Ragsdale on Saturday, March 25, 2017.
Born in Jackson County, NC, she was a daughter of the late Ralph and Mae Gwinn Queen.
Mrs. Ragsdale was the epitome of a Godly woman. She would pray for her family and read her Bible daily, quote scripture, and witness to everyone she met. Tressie was a graduate of Lynchburg Bible College and taught Bible School for over seventy years. She retired from Alice Manufacturing after 35 years of dedicated service and was a member of Mountain View Baptist Church in Six Mile.
Surviving are her daughters, Linda Peterman (Ken) of Pickens, Sharon Whitaker (Carl) of Six Mile and Terri Dickson (Billy) of Greenville; grandchildren; Patty M. Looper, Angie M. McClain, Ronnie Mauldin, Christie M. Smith, Randall Rowland, Becky R. Peace, Kamie W. Duncan, and Kyle Whitaker; step grandchildren, Kenny Peterman and Eddie Peterman; great grandchildren, Lauren, Morgan and Kristen Looper, Harrison McClain, Hunter Mauldin, Trey and Madelyn Smith, Xan Rowland, Lenzi, Tyler, Kailyn, Carlie and Reagan Peace, Cole and Kylie Duncan; step great grandchildren, Jacob, Nicholas and Makenzie Peterman and Dillon and Emily Peterman; a great-great granddaughter, Aubrey Elizabeth Blandin; and two sisters, Thelma Ellenburg of Greenville and Cathy Cable of Maggie Valley, NC.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by sisters, her twin, Lessie Roper, Mildred James and Charlene Nalley; and a brother, Troy Queen.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 29, 2017 at 2:00 PM at Mountain View Baptist Church in Six Mile with burial to follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park in Easley.
The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown Easley.
Flowers will be accepted.
The family will be at their respective homes.
