Treva Williams Smith

Treva Williams Smith, 92, wife of the late Edgar Hoyle Smith, Jr., of Piedmont, passed away Wednesday, September 7, 2022 at Clemson Downs.

Born in Moore County, NC, she was a daughter of the late James Lucian and Estella Williamson Williams. Mrs. Smith retired from Bigelow Carpet Company and was a member and Elder of Easley Presbyterian Church.

Mrs. Smith is survived by a son, Mark H. Smith of Simpsonville; a daughter, Amy Pickens (Andrew) of Clemson, two brothers, Foster and Harold Williams; a sister, Elizabeth Pusser; seven grandchildren Nathan Smith (Shayna), Jonathan Smith (Kristen), Jessica Russo (Jacob), Shelley Suttles (David), Tyler Lindley (Juliana), Allison Pickens, and Drew Pickens; and 12 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her loving husband of 69 years, she was preceded in death by six brothers and a sister.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, September 12, 2022 at Easley Presbyterian Church, with Rev. Dr. Christie S. Gravely officiating. Burial will follow in Greenville Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends prior to the service from 10:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. Monday, September 12, 2022 in the church parlor.
