Truman Layfield Campbell, Jr., 66, of 3800 East North Street, Apt. 27, died Tuesday, January 1, 2008 at Greenville Memorial Hospital.
Born in Salisbury, MD, he was the son of Elizabeth McMahan Campbell of Greenville and the late Truman Layfield Campbell. He was an entrepreneur, owning several businesses and was of the Baptist faith.
Surviving are his companion, Earline Gladin of the home; two step-sons, Jason Austin of Dewy Rose, GA, Bradley Simpson of Easley; four step-daughters, Angela Ramey of Greenville, Maria Merkison of Lula, GA, Tina Herndon of Brunswick, GA, Jennifer Miller of Martinsville, VA; a sister, Eve Shumate of Greenville and six step-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be 4:00 PM Friday in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home - Downtown with Reverend Bob Gibson officiating.
The family is at the home.
