Tyler Austin Grogan, 17, of 1326 Christopher Lane, died Monday, March 16, 2009.
Born in Anderson, he was a son of Hugh and Becky Grogan McElroy, Jr., Tyler was a member of Wren Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Friday at Robinson Funeral Home - Downtown. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Thursday night at the funeral home.
Survivors in addition to his parents are: a brother D.J. Strong of the home, paternal grandmother, Grace McElroy of Liberty; maternal great-grandmother, Bobbie Whitt of Anderson, and several aunts and uncles.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Tyler Grogan Memorial Fund, c/o Robinson Funeral Home, PO Box 387, Easley, SC 29641.
