Una Willis Hughes, 77, of 540 Amsterdam Road, died Sunday, Spetember 6, 2009, at her home.
Born in Pickens County, a daughter of the late Henry and Addie Smith Willis, Mrs. Hughes retired from Swirl, Inc., and was of the Church of God faith.
Surviving are her husband of fifty-nine years, Carl Hughes of the home; a daughter, Kathy Hawkins and husband, David, of Liberty; a granddaughter, Kim Rhodes and husband, Dusty, of Liberty; two great-grandchildren, Grant and Addison Rhodes; and four sisters, Frances Melton of Indiana, Ruby Morgan of Liberty, Betty Marsengill of Belton, and Gaynell Julian of Easley. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Hughes was predeceased by two brothers, Earl Willis and John Willis.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown, Easley, with Rev. Colie Hughes and Rev. Roger Stephens officiating. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park.
Visitation will be from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, prior to the service.
The family is at the residence.
