Vada Delores "Dee" Nichols Ellis, 82, widow of the late Dewey Nolan Ellis, passed away on October 1, 2020.
Born in Anderson, she was the daughter of the late Sherman Nichols and Kathleen Ivester Nichols. Dee was a hardworking business owner, having owned a service store with her husband for many years before retiring. She enjoyed crafting, painting and woodworking.
Dee is survived by her sons, Steve Gibson of Atlanta, GA, Tim Gibson of Marietta, SC; daughter, Susan Ashley (Bill) of Liberty, SC; step-sons, Dewey Ellis Jr. (Sharon) of Easley; David Ellis (Mitzi) of Atlanta, GA; brother, Jerry Nichols (Tina) of Anderson; sister, Patsy Kale (Johnny) of NC; and several grand-children and great-grandchildren. She will also be sorely missed by her best friend, Barbara Wardlaw (Edsel) and her beloved Boston Terrier, Georgia.
She is predeceased by her husband and parents.
