Vader Froline Williams Gillespie, 97, widow of Jesse Fielding Gillespie, passed away on Saturday, November 16, 2013, at her residence in the presence of her family.
Born in Cleveland County, NC, she was the daughter of the late Ples Carr and Alice Black Williams. She retired from Martin Sausage Company and was a member of Bishop Branch Baptist Church. She enjoyed gardening and spending time with her family.
She is survived by her children: Froline G. Thomas of Greenville; Brenda G. Nix of Saluda; and Janice G. Limbaugh of Easley; five grandchildren: Sheila Thomas Brock of Greenville; Timothy Wayne Thomas of Maryland; Kimberly Nix Porter of Saluda; Alicia Limbaugh Tolbert of Clemson; and Douglas Eugene Limbaugh, Jr. of Easley, and ten great grandchildren.
The Service in celebration of her life will be held in the Chapel at Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home in Central at 2 p.m., Tuesday, November 19, 2013. Burial will follow at Memory Gardens in Clemson.
Visitation will be held at Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home from 6 to 8 p.m., Monday, November 18, 2013.
The service will be officiated by the Rev. Bret Tolbert and will be assisted by Rev. Chip Coleman.
