Vallavbhai Dahyabhai Patel, 88, of Easley, South Carolina, husband of Vimlaben Vallavbhai Patel, passed away on Saturday, August 16, 2025.
Born in India, he was a son of the late Dahyabhai and Sakarben Patel. Vallavbhai dedicated his life to the noble profession of teaching. For over 35 years, he imparted knowledge to countless children in India, cherishing every moment spent in the classroom and truly loving the impact he made on young minds. His passion for education was further exemplified by his achievement of a master’s degree in education. Vallavbhai was much more than a devoted teacher; he was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He found great joy in the simple pleasures of life, especially when surrounded by his family. An enthusiastic lover of Indian cuisine, Vallavbhai enjoyed savoring the authentic flavors of his heritage. His interests also included reading, which offered him a chance to explore new worlds and ideas. As a man of faith, he was proud of his Hindu beliefs, which guided him through life and shaped his values.
Vallavbhai’s legacy will continue to live on in the hearts of his family and friends, who will remember his kindness, wisdom, and unwavering love. He will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. May his soul rest in peace.
In addition to his wife of 67 years, he is survived by three sons, Nitinkumar Patel, Pinakinkumar Patel, and Umeshkumar Patel; four grandchildren, Vraj Patel, Chandani Patel, Kajal Patel, and Prit Patel; and one great=granddaughter, Anaya Patel.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, August 20, 2025, in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home – Powdersville Road.
