Vandala Murray "Vandy" Looper, 53, of Shoals Creek Church Road, wife of Robert Dale Looper, passed away Tuesday, November 3, 2015.
Born in Savannah, GA she is the daughter of Vandy Jackson Murray and Hazel Irene Snyder Murray of Greenville.
Vandy was a beautician having worked in the Berea area of Greenville and was a member of Nine Forks Baptist Church. She loved reading. She and her daughter, Hope, would have a contest on who could read the same book the fastest.
In addition to her husband and parents, she is survived by her daughter, Emma Alexis "Hope" Looper of the home; and a brother, Bill Murray of Simpsonville.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 7, 2015 at 1:00 PM at Nine Forks Baptist Church with the Reverend Stephen Owens officiating.
The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the church.
Flowers will be accepted.
