Virgina Carolyn Duncan Wilcox, 74, wife of Rev. Paul L. Wilcox, died Friday, October 1, 2010 at her residence.

A native of Easley, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Ruby Smith Duncan. She was a member of Glenwood Wesleyan Church. She filled many roles in the church as a pastor's wife and was a dedicated and loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

In addition to her husband she is survived by son Mark Wilcox and wife Connie of Pickens, daughter, Julie Kellett and husband Phil of Central, grandchildren Loyd Patterson III and wife Jamie of Easley, Heidi Wilcox Ravenscraft and husband Bobby of Westminster, Melissa Wilcox of Central, Jeremy, Zach, and Caleb Wilcox of Pickens and Brock Kellett of Central, brother Wayne Duncan and his wife Lynda of Easley and sisters, Louvenia Ravan of Pickens, Jewell Key and husband Rev. Wilbur Key of Easley and Judy Owen and husband Ken of Six Mile and great-granddaughter Lesley Ann Ravenscraft and a large loving extended family. She is also survived by step grandsons Philiip Welch and wife Julie, Marc Welch and wife Tracy all of Kansas and Kevin Welch of Texas and step great grandchildren Owen, Ethan and Parker Welch.

In addition to her parents,she was predeceased by a son, Steve Wilcox and two brothers, Elford and Jerry Duncan.

Funeral services will be 1:00PM Monday in the chapel of Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home in Central with burial to follow in Golden Grove Wesleyan Church cemetery in Liberty.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 3:00 until 5:00PM.
