Velma McJunkins Mann, of 309 Highland Road and wife of the late Wallace M. Mann, died Thursday January 3, 2008 at Palmetto Health Baptist - Easley.
Mrs. Mann was born in Six Mile, a daughter of the late James W. "Bill" and Annie Barrett McJunkins.
She retired from Alice Manufacturing Company after 69 years of service and was a member of Park Street Baptist Church where she was active in the children's ministry for many years.
Surviving are her daughters, Barbara M. Maddox, of Easley and Melissa M. Turner and her husband, William, of Laurens; three grandchildren, Mary Lynn Goulden and her husband, Jim, of Southern Pines, NC, Marie Crawford and her husband, James, of Cary, NC and Jean Scheffer and her husband, Jason, of Westwood, NJ ; four great-grandchildren, Thomas Goulden, Barrett Goulden, Abbey Crawford and Jason Scheffer, Jr.
She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
Funeral Services will be 11:00 AM Saturday in the Chapel of Robinson Funeral Home - Downtown, with the Reverend Rick Baumgarner officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park.
The family is at the home of Barbara Maddox, 202 Timberlane Road, and will receive friends from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM Saturday, at the funeral home, prior to the service.
Memorials may be made to the Pickens County Humane Society.
