Vera Collene Higgins, 82, widow of John A. Higgins, died Thursday, October 2, 2008 at the Oconee Memorial Hospital in Seneca, SC.
Born in Charleroi, PA on January 19,1926, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Mary Lovejoy Fallenstein.
She was a member of the University Lutheran Church in Clemson.
She is survived by daughters: Rev. Janice Berthinee of Clemson, and Dr. Kathy R. Higgins of Bethel Park, PA; grandchildren: Dr. Elizabeth Stephan and husband Sean, Dr. J. Andrew Bethinee, II, Emily C. Berry and Patrick H. Danvers, and great-grandchildren, Katrina and Brock Stephan.
Her ashes will be interred at a later date in the Charleroi Cemetery in Charleroi, PA.
