Verta Urell Brown Campbell, 96, of Greenville and formerly of Mulberry Road, Easley, went home to be with the Lord, Tuesday, October 23, 2012.
She was born in the Oneal Community of Greer, to the late James W. and Mattie Edwards Brown.
She was twice married, first to Ernest R. White and then to Robert (Guy) Campbell, both of whom preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her two sons, Ray L. White and Ronald (Rock) White.
Surviving to cherish her memories are daughters, Jewell White Taylor of Colmesneil, TX and Janice White Hendrix (Steve) of Chesapeake, VA; daughter-in-law; Su Chuan (Jennifer) White; six grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren .
Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM Saturday in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown, Easley. Entombment will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Park.
Visitation will be from 1:00 until 1:45 PM Saturday at the funeral home, prior to the service.
Memorials may be made to the Greenville Humane Society, 305 Airport Road, Greenville, SC 29607.
