Vetta Elgin Morgan Williams, 84, of 1411 Highland Road, died Sunday, December 24, 2006, at her home.

Born in Greenwood County, a daughter of the late Clyde and Annie Sloan Elgin, Mrs. Williams retired from the Easley Plant of Woodside Mills and was a member of Calvary Hill Baptist Church.

Surviving are three sons, William Earl Morgan of Greenville, Glen Joel Morgan of Liberty and Donald Jerry Morgan of Easley; a daughter, Shirley Nations of Easley; two half-brothers, Charles Elgin of Easley, Clarence Elgin of Oklahoma; a half-sister, Myrtle Brintzenhoff of MI; six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Williams was predeceased by her first husband, Julius Morgan and by her second husband, Hansell Williams.

Graveside services will be at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at Greenlawn Memorial Park with Rev. Paul Turner officiating.

Visitation will be from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown.

Memorials may be made to Calvary Hill Baptist Church, 501 Rampey Street, Easley, SC 29640.

The family is at the residence.
