Vickie Hendrix Burdette

Vickie Hendrix Burdette, 68, of Central, wife to Jimmy Head, passed away January 16, 2025.

Born in La France, she was the daughter of the late Bill and Ruth Hendrix. Vickie graduated from Pendleton High School and was a member of La France Church of God of Prophecy. She loved to collect cookbooks and travel around the area with Jimmy finding yard sales. 

She is survived by her husband, Jimmy Head; children, Bobby Burdette and wife, Elizabeth of Central, Amanda “Mandy” Harrell and husband, Larry of Anderson, Kimberly Head, and Jeffrey Head; brother, Pete Hendrix of LaFrance. Vickie is also survived by several grandchildren, great grandchildren, extended family, and friends who loved her dearly.

She is predeceased by her parents, Bill and Ruth Hendrix; daughter, Krystal Marie Burdette; brother, Mitchell Hendrix; sister, Nancy Nimmons.

The family will receive friends on Monday, January 20, 2025 from 12:00 p.m. until 1:45 p.m. at Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home.

Funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Burial will be in Memory Gardens, Central, SC.
