Vincent J. Shilobod

Vincent J. Shilobod, 75, husband of Kim Barnes Shilobod, passed away on Saturday, December 20, 2025.

Born in Mt. Pleasant, PA on March 21, 1950, he was a son of the late Vincent Shilobod and Caroline Stanec.

Vincent held several jobs in coal mining, codes enforcement, and construction management, most recently working until his retirement with the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation working on the Pennsylvania Turnpike. When he wasn't working, he would spend cherished moments on the lake with his family. He also had a passion for woodworking, completing various different projects. Most of all he loved his family especially his children and grandchildren.

In addition to his wife, Vincent is survived by his son Adam Shilobod of Latrobe, PA; his daughter Tracey Tafero (Greg) of Liberty, SC; His grandchildren Gabriel; Julian; Anya; and Ava; and his great-grandchild Shawnee. He is also survived by his sisters Marlene Richter of West Chester, PA, and Nancy Brown of Reston, VA; as well as many loving nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings Catherine, Leonard, Don, Margaret, Eleanor, Dennis, and Ray.
