Violet Willis Powell, 82, of 24 YMCA Street, wife of the late Charles Powell, died Tuesday, March 14, 2006.
Born in Pickens County, a daughter of the late Lenhardt and Dessie Nations Wills, Mrs. Powell retired from Piedmont Shirt Company and was of the Baptist faith.
Surviving are three brothers, Jimmy Willis of Greenville, L.C. Willis and Leroy Willis both of Easley; two sisters, Louellen George of Greenville, and Viola Talley of Easley.
Graveside services will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday at Greenlawn Memorial Park with Rev. Scott Willis officiating.
The body is at Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown, Easley, where the family will receive friends Wednesday from 6:30 until 8:00 p.m.
The family is at the home of Judy Dalton, 406 South Second Street, Easley, SC 29640.
Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown, Easley, is assisting the family with arrangements.
