Mrs. Virginia Reynolds Higgins, 91, wife of the late O.K. Higgins, Jr., passed away Friday, October 30, 2015 at Summers Landing Assisted Living, Columbia.
Born in Pickens County, the daughter of the late Edward Reynolds and the late Mattie Murrell, Mrs. Higgins retired from Union Carbide and was a member of Brandon United Methodist Church, where she belonged to the Susannah Sunday School Class.
Surviving are three nieces, Ann Jones of Columbia, and Susan Sargant and Mary Craig, both of Piedmont; two nephews, Billy Reynolds of Pelion, SC and Eddie Reynolds of Arizona; five great nieces and eleven great-nephews. In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Higgins was predeceased by a brother, Charles E. Reynolds.
Graveside services will be 1:00 PM Monday, November 2, 2015 at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Easley.
The family will receive friends from noon until 12:45 PM Monday at Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown.
