Virginia Barclay Wiley, 93, of Clemson and widow of James Kenneth Wiley, died Tuesday, November 1, 2011 at the Clemson Downs.
Born in Lexington, VA, she was a daughter of the late Edwin B. and Virginia B. Shultz. Virginia was a graduate of Oberlin College and a former resident of Rochester, NY. She was a member of Fort Hill Presbyterian Church in Clemson, SC.
Surviving are a son, Dr. Robert J. Porter, Jr., of Muskegon, MI;
daughter, Penelope C. Rather of Boulder, CO; 11 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her first husband, Robert J. Porter and her daughter, Virginia Brewer.
Memorial services will be 10am on Saturday, November 19 at Fort Hill Presbyterian Church in Clemson, SC. The family will greet friends and family immediately following the service in the church.
