Virginia Hipps Young, 82, wife of the late Samuel D. Young, passed away Wednesday, October 10, 2012 at her home.
Born in Cherokee County, NC, a daughter of the late Corey and Nanny Hipps, Mrs. Young was a homemaker and of the Baptist Faith.
Surviving are a son, Sammy D. Young of Easley; a sister, Emily Autry of NC; a granddaughter, Sommer Young of VA; and a great-grandson, Kaden Iraheta of VA. In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Young was predeceased by a daughter, Michelle Young; two brothers and one sister.
Cryptside services will be 2:00 P.M. Friday, October 12, 2012 in the Hillcrest Memorial Park Mausoleum.
