Mrs. Vivian Geneva Duncan Gilliland, 74, of 142 Adger Road, Easley, loving wife of Joe Gilliland, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, April 09, 2015 at St. Francis Hospital ? Downtown.
Mrs. Gilliland was born in Six Mile, SC on November 25, 1940 to the late Albert and Selma Garrett Duncan. She worked in the textile industry and loved to shop, her flowers, and her gardens. She was an excellent cook and loved her family dearly.
In addition to her loving husband of 56 years, she is survived by two daughters; Donna Davis (Wayne), of Liberty; and Tonya McReynolds (Patrick), of Easley; a grandson, Cory Alexander McReynolds of Easley; two brothers; Rev. James Duncan (Aileen) of Greenwood; Rev. Bobby Duncan (Emma Lee) of Six Mile; and a sister; Rita Jean Bryant of Easley.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers; Marvin Duncan and Jimmy Duncan; and two sisters; Brenda Barker and Eleannor June Duncan.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, April 11, 2015 in the Chapel of Robinson Funeral Home ? Downtown, with the Rev. Bobby Duncan and the Rev. Scott Davis officiating. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Pickens.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home prior to the service on Saturday from 12:00 Noon until 1:45 PM.
The family is at the residence.
