Vivian Ada Dieffenbach Lines Whyne, 88, of Sheffield Rd., wife of Thomas Ralph Whyne, passed away Sunday, September 21, 2014 at the Magnolia's of Easley, SC.

Born May 16, 1926 in Overton, PA, she was a daughter of the late Frank and Ada Molyneaux Dieffenbach. Mrs. Whyne was a retired data entry clerk, loved sewing, traveling, and was very active in her churches.

In addition to her husband of forty three years, she is survived by her daughters, Wyllena Bowen and Lynda Carrigan (Michael); step daughters, Karen Dabbs and Bonnie Spieles (Frank); grandchildren, Darcey Bowen, Michelle Nielsen and Robert Bowen; great-grandchildren, Maille and Michael Nielsen.

Mrs. Whyne was predeceased by her son, John Lines.

Private graveside services will be conducted at Oak Hill Cemetery in Towanda, PA.
